Juice recipe - With Swiss Chard

This is the juice I made this morning,. If you are looking for sweetness, this is not it. The tomato and beet kind of overtook the flavor in this one, but it's very healthy as it has many detoxifying agents.

Here are the ingredients.

  • About 5 leaves of swiss chard
  • 6 carrots
  • 1 cucumber
  • 1/2 sweet bell pepper
  • 1 Gala apples
  • 1 tomato
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 1 beet

This much green juice came out of the swiss chard, cucumber and sweet bell pepper. Green juice is full of chlorophyll, and is like adding fresh blood to yours (getting a blood transfusion). Chlorophyll is the blood of the plant.

And here is the finished product. My husband and I each had two glasses. It's great starting your day with fresh juice!
